This was just an optimal selection for a holiday in Christchurch with reasonable value. The room was clean and warm upon arrival, which was a welcome surprise after a long journey. If you're sensitive to noise, consider asking for a room away from the road.

amazing, amazing, amazing
My stay was exceptional, with the room having a perfect arrangement of three single beds in a separate area, which catered perfectly to my family's needs. The functional couch equipped with Netflix was a delightful bonus for our downtime. We also loved that the shower was above average and the internet connection was reliable, making it an ideal place to unwind after our day's adventures.

Fantastic stay at Argyle On The Park Motel! The cleanliness of the room impressed me right away. The owner greeted me warmly upon arrival and offered helpful tips about local attractions. I loved having multiple electrical sockets and Netflix in the spacious room. The firm but comfortable bed made for great sleep. Being just a short stroll from the beautiful Botanic Gardens and handy eateries was a huge plus. However, the shower facilities could use an upgrade. they felt a bit basic. Additionally, I noticed some noise from the road during peak hours. Overall, a great spot but a few minor areas for improvement.

active Netflix account, small kitchen facilities, close proximity to Hagley Park
Shower facilities could use an upgrade!!! A bit of noise from early morning rubbish trucks and a lack of a fan in the bathroom leaves much to be desired!!! Not a fan of the open windows for ventilation!!!
